    Spicy Harissa Mocktail

      Ingredients

      • Cinnamon stick
      • 3/4 cup (180 mL) water
      • Thyme sprigs
      • 1 tsp (5 mL) agave syrup
      • 1 tsp (5 mL) harissa seasoning
      • Flat or sparkling soda

      Directions

      In small, dry saucepan, shake cinnamon stick over medium heat until it begins to smell aromatic. Add water, generous sprigs of thyme, agave syrup, and harissa. Stir over medium heat until simmering and blended. Fill highball glass with ice cubes. Strain mixture overtop and fill glass with flat or sparkling soda; garnish as desired.
